WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is an innovative program being used by schools across America to help fathers (and father figures) created a positive impact with our students. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and provide an extra set of eyes and ears. To learn more about the program go to the Watch DOGS website.

HORACE MANN WATCH DOGS KICKOFF AND PIZZA MEETING
Who: Horace Mann Elementary fathers and male guardians
What: WATCH DOGS kickoff meeting
Where: Horace Mann Elementary – Art & Science Room (next to the music room)
When: Thursday, January 23, 2020 -- 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Please come join us for our WATCH DOGS kickoff meeting. We’ll have pizza and refreshments. The plan is to go over what the day in the life of a WATCH DOG can look and sound like. We’ll share information on how to sign up, WATCH DOGS program’s alignment with Mann’s social-emotional focus for our students, as well as opportunities to answer questions you may have. If you were a WATCH DOG last year, I’d appreciate it if you would be open to sharing your experience with others at the kickoff.
For planning purposes, please sign up letting me know you’ll be there. I want to make sure we have enough pizza and refreshments. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Looking forward to seeing you all there. Happy Holidays and see you in 2020!
Jimmy Cho – Associate Principal
